Nanaimo Waterline Replacement & Repair

At R & M we offer full repair and replacement of broken waterlines in Nanaimo and the surrounding areas.  We offer both excavation for a new waterline as well as trenchless replacement of waterlines. We work with Journeyman Plumbers to ensure all connections are safe.

The most common signs of a leak in your waterline are a significant increase in your water bill as well as consistently damp or puddling spots in your yard.

If you think have a leak in your waterline the first thing to do is ensure all of the taps in your house are completely shut off and there are no dripping faucets or running toilets.  Then go to your water meter at the property line and if the numbers on the meter are still turning then it is highly likely there is a leak on your side the meter and you are responsible for repairing it. If you suspect the leak may not be on your property you can contact the local municipality and they will be able to confirm whether the leak is on your property or not. 

In some cases we can replace your waterline without digging a trench across your yard. When possible this can be done for significantly cheaper than digging a trench. We still need to excavate at either end of the line in order to make connections.
